Nobel Prize Museum tarafından düzenlenen Nobel Ödülü Öğretmen Zirvesi her yıl dünyanın farklı ülkelerinden öğretmenleri, eğitimde büyük önem taşıyan bir tema etrafında Nobel Ödülü Sahipleri, önde gelen bilim adamları ve barış aktivistleriyle buluşma imkanı sunuyor. Toplumların büyük zorluklarla karşı karşıya kaldığı bu dönemde demokratik değerlerin, insan haklarının ve bilime olan güvenin korunması her zamankinden daha önemli bir hal almaktadır. Bu perspektiften yola çıkarak 26-29 Eylül 2023 tarihleri arasında otuzdan fazla ülkeden gelen öğretmenlerin, “Bilgiyi Öğretme-Öğrenmeye Katılım” temasını keşfetmek için bir araya geldiği genişletilmiş programa katılma fırsatı yakaladım. İsveç okul sistemini yakından gözlemleyebildiğimiz okul gezileri, eğitim dünyasında yaşanan son gelişmelerin tartışıldığı grup çalışmaları, atölyeler, müze gezileri ve Nobel ödül sahiplerinin yer aldığı konferans ile birlikte verimli bir hafta geçirdim. Mükemmel öğretmenler olmadan, yeni Nobel Ödülü sahipleri olmaz.
Organized by the Nobel Prize Museum, each year the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit offers teachers from around the world the opportunity to meet with Nobel Laureates, leading scientists and peace activists around a theme of great importance in education. At a time when societies are facing great challenges, it is more important than ever to preserve democratic values, human rights and trust in science. With this perspective in mind, I had the opportunity to participate in the extended program from 26-29 September 2023, where teachers from more than thirty countries came together to explore the theme “Teaching Knowledge – Participation in Learning”. I spent a productive week with school visits where we were able to closely observe the Swedish school system, group workshops discussing the latest developments in the world of education, workshops, museum visits and a conference with the Nobel Laureates. Without excellent teachers, there will be no new Nobel Laureates.
