Sürdürülebilir bir gelecek için hayati derecede öneme sahip olan Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçlarını (SKA) yaygınlaştırmak için oluşturulan Küresel Okullar Programı (GSP), BM Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Çözümleri Ağı’nın (SDSN) ilk ve orta öğretim programıdır. Öğrencilere giderek karmaşıklaşan ve zorlaşan bir dünyada başarılı olmalarını sağlayacak değer ve becerileri kazandırma misyonuna sahip GSP, öğretmenlerin bu süreçte aktif bir rol almasını desteklemektedir. Öğretmenlerin sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı sınıflarına taşımasını sağlayacak yeni pedagojik yaklaşımların kullanımını destekleyen ve eğitimin genel kalitesini artırmak için ücretsiz araçlar, planlar ve etkinlikler sunan bu programın bir parçası olarak Küresel Okullar Savunucu seçildiğimi bildirmekten büyük mutluluk duyuyorum.
The Global Schools Programme (GSP) is the primary and secondary education program of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), created to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are vital for a sustainable future. With a mission to equip students with the values and skills to succeed in an increasingly complex and challenging world, GSP supports teachers to take an active role in this process. I am delighted to announce that I have been selected as a Global Schools Advocate as part of this program, which supports the use of new pedagogical approaches that enable teachers to bring sustainable development into their classrooms and provides free tools, plans and activities to improve the overall quality of education.
