Ülkemizin de üye olduğu Avrupa Okul ağı tarafından yürütülen Scientix projesi kapsamında düzenlenen STEM keşif haftası 2020 (STEM Discovery Campaign 2020) kapsamında düzenlenen “Scientix Yarışmasında” “Build your own weather station” adlı projem ödül almaya hak kazanan projelerden biri oldu.
Bu proje ile öğrencilerin basit malzemelerle hava olaylarını gözlemleyebilecekleri ve hava tahmininde bulunabilecekleri bir hava istasyonunu kurması amaçlanmıştır. Proje kapsamında rüzgar gülü, rüzgar ölçer (anemometre), yağmur ölçer (udometre), sıcaklık ölçer (termometre), basınç ölçer (barometre) ve nem ölçer (higrometre) tasarlandı. Tasarlanan bu araçlar test edildi ve ölçümler yapıldı. Bu araçların çalışma prensipleri keşfedildi.
My project “Build your own weather station” was one of the projects that was awarded in the “Scientix Competition” organized within the scope of the STEM Discovery Campaign 2020 organized within the scope of the Scientix project carried out by the European School Network, of which our country is a member. With this project, it is aimed to build a weather station where students can observe weather events and make weather forecasts with simple materials. Within the scope of the project, a wind vane, wind meter (anemometer), rain meter (udometer), temperature meter (thermometer), pressure meter (barometer) and humidity meter (hygrometer) were designed. These designed instruments were tested and measurements were made. The working principles of these instruments were discovered.
